When female poets bend over the copper kettle
with a wooden spoon they carefully stir the bottom
of the world and extract objects valuable shiny
then they hide them inside some ancient pillows
and during major celebrations or weddings and christenings
they pin on their chest the valuable poems
and their female neighbors say how nice they are
where did you find them
and the female poets explain
well when they are laying underneath the bed
to collect the dust the spiders and the bugs
there they find the poems because many times
they fall a little asleep -that is under the bed-
and while they doze off surely they are dreaming of lines
locution lust lutes labyrinths lowlands loppers
lines lipped lifeguards nightlights loam
that is what these incognitos say these bit by bit female poets
