Play the game-creative writing with/for children

Stephen Antonakos

Dr. Konstantinos Vlastaris
May 2023

The seminar is about using and creating imaginative games with rules for creative writing. It is an educational practice, capable of attracting children’s interest, as it is directly connected to their life – the play – and by extension makes the production of writing more effective. The specificity of its educational value has to do with the fact that children, through playing are the protagonists-creators who produce texts in a playful way. This active role co-moves, activates and engages children. In a playful educational activity. So, get ready to play with letters, words, layouts and rules that work liberatingly and make the game more exciting!
