Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The fourth Youth Webinar organized in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth (English/French/Spanish) is on its way! Focusing on youth-led initiatives and the futures of education, this webinar will take place on Wednesday, 23 June 2021, 9:00-10:30 EDT/15:00-16:30 CET

Currently our world is home to 1.8 billion young people between the ages of 10 to 24, the largest generation of young people in its history. With such numbers, it is clear that sustainable development and peace cannot be achieved unless young people are involved in global discussions and decision-making processes, contributing to the creation of conditions that can allow them to reach and unleash their full potential.

Education systems that recognized young people as agents of change, full-fledged partners and leaders – not only beneficiaries – is key in building a more sustainable, equal, just, and resilient world for all. We believe that this discussion promoting youth-led initiatives and the futures of education to be timely and we invite you to join the discussion!
