The ECML-EC colloquium “Innovative Methodologies and Assessment in Language Learning 10 years on – moving forward together” will be streamed on the afternoons of Tuesday, 13 December (14:00-17:00 CET) and Wednesday 14 December (14:30- 17:00 CET)
With 2022 marking 10 years of the Centre’s cooperation agreement with the European Commission, the colloquium will review the activities and the ways in which these have evolved in response to needs on the ground as well as looking at what this means for the years ahead. The event coincides with a survey conducted by the ECML on national priorities in language education which will inform the Call for the Centre’s next medium-term programme (2024-27).
The colloquium brings together stakeholders from the member states of the European Centre for Modern Languages and the European Commission and will focus on key initiatives taking place with the cooperation action and their impact in the member states.
- Relating language curricula, tests and examinations to the Common European Framework of Reference (RELANG)
- Supporting multilingual classrooms
- The future of language education in the light of Covid- lessons learned and ways forward
- Summer academy for teacher educators
