Maria Giannouli

Maria Giannouli is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of American Literature and Culture, School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). She holds an M.A. in Literary Studies-Modern Literature from Goldsmiths University of London, and B.A in English Language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her Ph.D research explores Surveillance in Contemporary American Culture, particularly Literature, TV series and Videogames. Her academic interests include Contemporary American Literature, Postmodernism, Techno-dystopias, Gender Studies, and Climate Change Fiction.
