About TICL
The Laboratory of Translation, Interpreting and Communication (TICL) was established in 2018 (National Gazette issue B 689/28-02-2018).
TICL views interdisciplinarity as a necessary tool toward promoting dialogue and strengthening the synergetic potential across its relevant fields. TICL aims to boost knowledge and research in the fields of Translation, Interpretation and Communication, all seen broadly in a multilingual, multicultural and multimodal environment, through research projects and events (seminars, symposia, conferences) with the participation of well-established professionals and scholars from various fields. Its objectives also include the development of local, national and international partnerships as well as the strengthening of links with a non-academic public.
Director: Fotini Apostolou, Associate Professor, School of English Language and Literature.
